Any news on Sade?
 

I checked her official website and there's nothing except old info and promos for her last album. I guess she wants to take time off to have a life but it's been years.

Well considering there was an 8 year gap between her last two studio albums and the last came out in 2000, we should be hearing of one soon.

I absolutely LOVE that woman/band to death. Every single one of their albums. I have heard a RUMOR that she will duet with Maxwell on his upcoming new album "Black Summer's Night" slated for release this year, with Stuart Matthewman producing the track. That would be sick to hear those 2 together.
Until then, I am patiently awaiting. I do know that when a new Sade album comes out, it always is great because she/they take their time and it always is a classic(especially the last 2 albums "Lovers Deluxe" and my favorite "Lovers Rock"

I always felt they should let her do a James Bond opening credits song because of her smooth sexy style of music. But instead we get Madonna's DIE ANOTHER DAY and CASINO ROYLE by whoever that was.

Yeah Sade loves making us wait for new shit. :grunt:

I'll assume that as you're such a big fan, that you'll realise that "Lover's Deluxe" is actually "Love Deluxe" and that you had a brain fart.

The reason for the delay is it takes a bit longer to figure out how to cut and remix the songs from her previous album for the new one and make it sound fresh today ;) I'm really kidding, I do enjoy her very much.

I heard she's working on a disc with Maxwell and D'Angelo... ;)
