(Thinking about the NIN thread, has anything leaked from this album yet?)

So much for my hope for a less self-indulgent track list...

It's going to totally suck and bore the life right out of me, but I'm going to buy it anyway, because it's Tori.

Thanks for the above links even though I couldn't get the above german link to work for some reason....
I am absolutely loving the first 3 songs on the new album...This album seems to have a lot of energy to it which I think is a good change for Tori...
Also some info from thetoristore.com about the limited edition:
"This Limited Edition version of American Doll Posse also includes 5 collectible postcards, a full color 36 page booklet and a Bonus DVD which contains a bonus track and behind the scenes footage."
I will defintiely be picking up the limited editon of ADP

Hate to bump it - but I've pre-ordered the album off iTunes for the pre-sale ticket ordeal, along with that you get the 'Big Wheel' single. I am totally digging it. Its a bit more upbeat than previous Tori stuff, but I like it.

It's been "out 'n about" for a week or two now. However, i've been too busy listening to NIN to give it a thorough spin..

I've been listening to it for the last few days. The first half is very solid and then it just winds down. It could have been a great 12 song album, but she had to put 23 tracks on it for some reason.
Still, it's Tori and I will be getting the deluxe edition.

Way to long. If she would of cut this album in half, (much like the previous two) it could of been spectacular. Songs like 'Bouncing Off The Clouds' remind me of the old Tori.

I went with Amazon at 13.99 shipped. (If you have Amazon Prime)
They offer the regular edition for 12.99.

Tori is scheduled to perform this Thursday on the Late Show with David Letterman!
Although, I'm not sure if it will technically be her or the member of the American Doll Posse who sings "Big Wheel" which is what I'm guessing will be the song that is performed.

My initial impressions for this album are "pleasantly surprised". It's a bit bloated but it's better than anything she's put out since 1999. I'm happy.
I really enjoy the bonus track on the DVD too, but apart from that there's only 5 minutes of film footage of the album's photo shoot, 5 post cards and expanded liner notes that introduce each of her personas and explicitly states which songs each sings. Not sure if it's worth it for non-obsessed Tori fans to spend the extra money on the deluxe version.

I absolutely love this cd, what about everyone else? Easily the first album of hers I've really gotten into since Choirgirl. Only Tori could do a 23 track album without one real filler
