Re: Who have you seen in concert?
Saw Metallica, Guns N' Roses and Faith No More at Texas Stadium, 1994.
The Jackson 5 Reunion tour at Texas Stadium, 1984.
My worst of all though, Vanilla Ice with C+C Music Factory opening, 1991.

Re: Who have you seen in concert?
Too many to mention. I've seen most all the big names (Van Halen, Metallica, AC/DC, Queen, U2, Rush, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath..etc) and pretty much everyone in between (Heart, Megadeth, The Grateful Dead, Ramones, The Clash, Styx, Etc)
Some others of note...
Gentle Giant
Tuxedomoon
Flipper *
Black Flag *
Adolescents
DRI
Uriah Heep
Tangerine Dream
Dead Kennedys*
The Mutants*
PIL
The Stanglers
Al DiMeola
Buckethead
The Deli Creeps
Zev
MDC
Return To Forever
Brand X
Focus
Roxy Music
King Crimson
Skinny Puppy
Shakti
Tony Macalpine
Eric Johnson
Lynch Mob
T-Ride
Circle Jerks*
Vandals
China White
Voice Farm
Gong
Ozric Tentacles
Allan Holdsworth
Venom
Devo
Jean Luc Ponty
Keith Jarrett
* seen live at least 25 times
Biggest Regret: Never seeing David Bowie (especially during the middle/late 70's)
I never go to concerts anymore either. Last show I saw was probably 5 years ago.
Not sure why that is.

Re: Who have you seen in concert?
On Monday I saw Jenny (Lewis) and Johnny (Happy Birthday--band from VT--opened--I enjoyed them as well) at Toad's Place in New Haven, CT.
They have a much smaller band this time. 4-piece as opposed to the 6 or 7-piece for the previous tours (Jenny Lewis, Rice, and a lead guitarist and drummer--JL, JR and the guitarist switched off between guitars and bass--Jenny also played synth and paired-down drums on a few songs).
Superb set, and special moments alert--During the encores when Jenny and Johnny were just playing a couple of acoustic songs without the other 2 in the band, I yelled out for them to play "The Charging Sky" and she did (Crowd helped her out with words a bit because she had not played it in a while), and at the end I was trying to pull the setlist off the stage in front of me, they were walking off and and Jenny was looking over and giving me her blessing to take the list!

Re: Who have you seen in concert?
I don't really go to concerts any more. For whatever reason, music just doesn't have a huge place in my life as when I was younger, and then when you add in the hassle of getting a sitter for the kids, plus very few tours play Orlando...but here's a quick list of the ones I could remember.
First concert: Billy Joel (Seen 5+ times)
Bruce Springsteen (30+ times)
Prince
David Lee Roth
Jethro Tull
Fairport Convention
Styx
U2 (5+ times)
The Alarm
Living Colour
Little Steven
Midnight Oil
The Hooters
Joe Walsh
Genesis
Dire Straits
Alannah Miles
Clarence Clemons
Anderson Bruford Wakeman and Howe (Yes)
Heart
Southside Johnny
Rolling Stones
The Who
Bob Dylan
Elton John
Rush (2x)
Herman’s Hermits/a bunch of other 60s bands

It was great. I loved how they completely turned around the idea of feeling sorry for them because they are blind African musicians. They came out in gold-plated sunglasses. Amadou had a gold-plated guitar.
The "Masiteladi" solo was excellent.

For anyone who enjoys their music, go see The Civil Wars and James Vincent McMorrow live.
Incredible experience. Saw them last night. Probably some of the best live anything I've ever seen at a show.

Re: Who have you seen in concert?
I did this once already but was bored so figured I'd update it:
38 Special-at the local county fair in the early 2000s probably not sure when exactly
Queens of the Stone Age- Fargo, ND in 2007
Green Day- Omaha, NE in 2009
Franz Ferdinand (opener for Green Day)- Omaha, NE in 2009
Conan O'Brien with The Legally Prohibited Band (counting this since it was a variety show with lots of music)- Minneapolis, MN in 2010
Brian Setzer (performed at the Conan show)- Minneapolis, MN 2010
Foo Fighters- Council Bluffs, IA 2011
Biffy Clyro (opener for Foo Fighters)- Council Bluffs, IA 2011
Eddie Vedder (haven't seen him yet but a couple more weeks)- Minneapolis, MN 2011
Bands I hope to see at some point:
Pearl Jam- it'll be cool to see Eddie but I'd love to see the full band perform
Social Distortion
Bruce Springsteen I'd see him solo but preferrably with The E Street Band if at all possible...(edit) damn guess not with the full E Street Band with the death of Clarence Clemons RIP..
