just gave it a second listen, much better second time around.
i dunno what i was expecting, but i was disappointed on the first listen.


the sound of the record is similar to The New Danger.

I think its slightly better than The New Danger but so far, I've only listened to it twice now.

I had heard that he only did the album in order to fulfill is record contract. I hope that the rumor isn't right and that he'll still be doing albums in the future.

I didn't even know this existed. Excellent news. New Danger grew on me, but I really wish Mos (Andre 3000 too for that matter) would stick to rhyming. Some of the singing works, but it's not what they're best at. Umi Says was great, though.

I just got this and will give it a listen after I digest More Fish. Can't be much worse than The New Danger.

this album just enforced my notion that mos has fallen off. Sure, its better than a new danger, but all in all, its terrible.

i mean, he's not going to make another Black on Both Sides or Blackstar, but it's pretty good.

I'm a bit surprised he out and out used the beat from GZA's "Liquid Swords." That's some mixtape stuff right there.

it came out today. comes with no booklet or art work, just the cd in a clear case.

I just noticed this tacked onto the end of All Music's review of the album:

Nearly two weeks after the album made it to stores, Geffen revealed that it would be re-released a few months later with full artwork and a slightly different track listing.

Interesting. I still haven't bought this album. Guess I'll wait a little while, if I buy it at all.
