record player - how to buy?
 

Inspired by another person's post about collecting vinyl...

I was wondering if someone can school me on how to buy a record player (if that's what you call it)...particular brands, what to look for...etc. I know of someone who has a huge collection, but doesn't have a player. Just thought I'd get one as a xmas gift.

Here is a great site with forum that highly recommend. The memers here are very helpful. Lots of good articles as well.
