Wrote My First Song in AWHILE Tonight
 

Man, it really feels good to change strings and polish up the guitar.

I've been playing for 15 years, but the last few, I haven't been like I'd like to. For some reason, tonight, I was messing around with tunings and wrote a pretty cool riff. That turned into a full song. Wrote some pretty crappy lyrics, but I like where it's heading.

And if you haven't heard, Taylor makes some ridiculously nice guitars. Those things just lend themselves to songwriting.

Good for you, man. I love writing songs, and in my heyday I averaged one a week. Don't get around to doing it as much anymore. In fact, I've got piles of riffs and chord progressions just laying around in need of lyrics. Some day...
