I believe the OP was talking about cover songs that you have seen bands do live, not cover songs that bands have done on album.

Best was a local band doing the long version of "Paradise By The Dashboard Lights".

Or Fig Dish doing "Dream Police".

Or the Real McKenzies doing "Saturday Night"

Or the Rugburns doing "Stairway to Heaven", but using the lyrics to "Gilligan's Island" (or maybe that goes on my list of "worst")

Worst? I know I've seen a few. Probably a local band doing "Ice Ice Baby". I'll have to think about it.

I think KISS covered that one on the "Asylum" tour back in the day.

Motley Crue does a kickass version of Elvis' "Jailhouse Rock".

My current favorite is RATM's Live cover of Bruce Springsteen's "The ghost of Tom Joad"...

Damn, Zack is one angry dude.

I've always been partial to Local H's version.

No Doubt's Come on Eileen is pretty good.

I also enjoy Gin and Juice by some redneckers.

Actually, that was done by Save Ferris.
