AllofMP3 going free?!
Looks like they're moving to an ad-revenue based model. They are really thumbing their noses at the WTO and the copyright holders...

Yeah but the files will be DRM'd somehow, can only play them back on one computer.

Well this kills it effectively, IMHO. Unless someone breaks the DRM, these don't have any real use to me anymore. I guess I'll be eating the $5 I have in there right now.

So, first they sell MP3s they don't have the rights to, and now they're going to attach DRM to MP3s they don't have the rights to and give them away for free.
That's one hell of a business model. |
