Mr Tambourine Man
 

Simple question, which version of the song "Mr Tambourine Man" do you like better: Bob Dylan (who also wrote it) or The Byrds?

I'll throw in an other in the offhand chance that there's a third version worthy of note that I've forgotten/with which I am not familiar. Please specify though.

Shatner. Followed by The Byrds.

For years I liked the Dylan version better. Now I prefer The Byrds'. I've always preferred their version of "My Back Pages".

Exactly. There are very few moments in life as wonderful as the end of Shatner's version.

Dylan. As much as I like the Byrds' version, it's only one verse long.

And I've always preferred their original songs to their Dylan covers.

Dylan's by a mile, partly because I get chills every time he gets to this verse:

Dylan, especially the live versions from At Budokan or The Bootleg Series: "Royal Albert Hall Concert" and "Rolling Thunder Revue '75".
