"As Tears Go By" by The Rolling Stones - I would love to hear it "stripped"
 

This is a really great Stones song - until the violins kick in. The beginning, when the guitar is being strummed and picked, is beautiful enough, and I would love to hear the entire song in that vein.

Has a version like that ever been released to the public, a stripped-down version without the orchestration? If not, do you think it will happen?

I don't think so, but they did record it in Italian if you're interested.

I think there is also a version that, if played backwards, tells you to kill your parents.

As far as I know, there is no "stringless" version of the song.

But, on a bootleg called The Black Box, there's an electricified version of the song. Haven't heard that version in awhile, but I do recall liking it quite a bit. More info here:
