Best sleeves for 45's?
I did a search, and unless I missed it (very possible), couldn't find anything pertaining to this, surprisingly. What are people's opinions on the best plastic sleeve you can buy to protect a 45's paper sleeves? Such as non-acidic (won't damage the sleeve it's trying to protect), and doesn't scuff up like the cheaper plastic seems to do?
I want to get a bunch for my 45's, but I'm not sure where to start. Thanks much! |
Damn, I thought this was going to be a thread about best 45 record covers (i.e. the actual artwork on the covers).

I use resealable "poly" bags from Japan. I bought bulk quantities for everything I own 33 1/2's, 45's, CD's and DVD's from a dealer at a record convention in Anaheim a couple years ago. I bought just enough for my vinyl but my supply is running low for my CD and DVD's. I only use them on "snapper" DVD's (mainly Warner Bros.) or any other cardboard DVD box. For CD's I use them on all cardboard jewel cases and or if the jewel case has a sticker on the outside.
This might be a good place to start, http://www.bagsunlimited.com/cart/browse.asp?subcat=26 These prices a pretty much inline with what I paid for my bags a few years ago. |
