Removing pause between tracks question
 

When removing the pause/break between two tracks do you set the pause/break to zero seconds on the first or second track, or in other words, is the pause associated with a track the one at the beginning of the track or the one at the end? Example: I used Nero to combine the first two Boston cds onto one cd-r. The tracks Dont Look Back/The Journey/It's Easy all run together without a break. Thinking the pause is at the end of the track I removed it on Don't Look Back and The Journey. The first break was not there on the cd-r but the one between The Journey and It's Easy was still there. Before I retry removing break on The Journey and It's Easy I thought I would ask instead of wasting another disc. Anybody know?

Set the pause/break to zero on the second track and they should run together without a space in between. :beer2:

Thanks. I figured I had it backwards.

Whenever I do this, I always got either an obnoxious "click" sort of sound, or a small gap is still present. I kinda just figured it couldn't really be done to have a smooth flowing track-to-track sound.. perhaps it's my burner?

I know what you are talking about. When I redid the one I was working on I imported the cd-r I had made to save time rather than import the individual originals. On the second disc I burned, one gap was completely gone but the other was still there just real small. I wonder if it makes a difference if the source is the original cd which has no gaps as opposed to removing gaps from discs made from mp3 files. I doubt it's your burner, most likely the software program.
