Music help question: Night Ranger guitar solo

OK, my buddy just called me to ask my opinion of this question:

In the song "You can still Rock in America", which guitar player, Brad Gillis or Jeff Watson, does the 8-finger tap guitar solo? I could swear that when I saw them live they both were playing on the same guitar (4 fingers each), but in the 80's, I had a Brad Gillis lesson video and I know he did the 8-finger tap. My buddy swears that Watson was the 'tap-master' and the solo was his. I used to have the GFPM magazine with that in it, and I believe it said who it was, but I no longer have the mag.

Can anyone verify who does the lead in this song?

Thanks,
S2

I'm not sure, but Brad was more the whammy-bar/cool-harmonics-sounds whiz, while Jeff was the 8-finger master.

Watson does the 8 finger tapping solo on "You can Still Rock In America".

He also has a great solo cd called 'Lone Ranger' featuring guest star Allan Holdsworth. He really showcases his technique on this disc.

And Brad Gillis plays guitar on Ozzy Osbourne's live CD, "Speak of the Devil". Does quiet well, too!
