Stand up comedy routine??
 

Hell if I know if this is the right place to put this, but I caught this clip on XM radio and I can't identify it for the life of me. It was a comedian doing a routine on cold weather.

He talked about how sometimes it would get so cold you didn't even use temperatures to describe it. Just two guys walking down the street freezing their butts off, one guy asks the other, Can you believe how cold it is? and the other guy just goes "THIS IS BULLSH*T!!!!!!"

I can't explain it, but it just had me laughing so hard. He went on to describe a guy out on the weather patio doing the same thing. Anybody know by any chance what comedian this might have been doing that routine?

Dane Cook? Sounds like something he would say, but that is 100% a guess.

That sounds pretty familiar. I might have heard the same bit in the last couple days.

I think it might be Lewis Black.

Was he talking about how Weathermen on tv are just making stuff up?

I think it may have been one of the tracks on Lewis Black's "Rules of Enragement" CD. It was probably either "Minnesota Winters" or "The Coldest Winter EVER!"

Thanks for the advice. I will check out those Lewis Black tracks when I get home. I don't think it was him though because I love Lewis and think I would have remembered it if it was him. I'm certain it wasn't Dane Cook though because I have all his albums and would remember that too.

The bit with the weatherman in the thing was about him using words like "BS" and other swear words to describe the weather out on the "weather patio" not about making up windchills, so not sure if it was either of those Lewis Black ones from what I heard when I listened to the clips on Amazon, but I will have to listen to the whole tracks to be sure.

On Black's cd, Rules of Engagement, the first couple tracks are weather related.

1. Minnesota Winters
2. The Settling Of Minnesota
3. The Coldest Winter Ever!

Dane Cook would have been my second choice, as the language in your post sounds like him as well, but I don't recall him talking about weather that much on his cds.

Can you describe the voice at all? Is it deep, a bit higher in octave?
