Good albums for cheap on I-tunes
Most albums are 9.99 but sometimes you can find good stuff even cheaper.
Best I got:
Tricky--Maxinquaye 5.99
Etta James -At Last (One of my favorite albums) 5.99
Just bought Slick Rick's The Art of Storytelling for 5.99 as well
Anyother good deals out there?

You just described why I have bought only one album on iTunes, though. If the price is going to be about the same, I prefer having the CD.
Getting back to the premise of the thread, I believe I got the one album I bought for $7.99. It was Beastie Boys -- License to Ill. I owned it on CD years ago but lost it along the way. For some reason, I really wanted to hear Rhymin' and Stealin' and decided to just buy the whole thing.

There's a few things on there that aren't available on cd I've been meaning to order.
I was a bit worried about sound quality and had been dragging my feet.

If I can find it at the local record store for around the same price, it's a no-brainer. However, there are a lot of albums that would cost me a fortune to import. That's what is nice about itunes.

I've tried to split the general encoding-quality posts off into the "one-and-only" thread so as to keep this one more on-topic.
(For anyone wondering why the distinction, as a rule, discussing hardware and software is something best done in Tech Talk but there has been a concession whereby some Itunes/Ipod stuff has its own place here. And here).

Reflection Eternal's (Talib Kweli & Hi Tek) Train of Thought is only $5.99... It's a modern hip-hop classic in my opinion with 20 tracks... Saw it yesterday at a B&M for $15.99 so it's a steal at the price...
