I forgot to come back in here and report on the show.
Great, great show. there were about 7-8 songs I had not heard, but I'm told and seeing looking at other setlists they weren't entirely new. I would have actually preferred a tad more I was familiar with, and looking at the setlist Mon and Sun, would have preferred the Sun show, but I can't complain. The only other time I saw them was back in Grant Park in Chicago a few years ago. that show was huge, so this was a much more mellow, and laid back show. The fans seemed to be into it, and they played a nice long set over 2.5 hours from what I recall. My seats were terrible, last row in the building, but at least it wasn't that big of place. I didn't take my camera thinking they might not allow them, but did see many, and found some decent pics here and there on the web. |

nope there is a lot of background talking and noise, and the guy says that himself..
But its a nice way for some of us to hear the new tracks being played on tour. |
I saw the 2 shows in Chicago - they were just fantastic! There wasn't a lot of overlap between the setlists, so we heard 39 different songs including the premiere of a new one ("All I Need").
The second night, "Airbag" opened and "The Tourist" closed. Awesome! |
