I'm looking forward to it, especially since I can't stop listening to Seeing Double at the Triple Rock.

Man its been years since I have listened to a new NOFX cd, but their older stuff still has regular rotation in my Ipod...The Brews is one of my favorite "workout" songs. Maybe its time to "re-visit" them and check out this new one.

Another mp3 posted on Fat Wreck's site:

(Note to any mods who might misunderstand: Fat Wreck's their label, so this isn't some nasty underground bootleg thing.)

My initial reaction is that it's their weakest album since "Heavy Petting Zoo" (and I'd probably say weaker than that). I mean, it's okay, but it's less poppy/melodic than they've been in many years, and although there are definitely a bunch of speedy, hypercaffeinated rave-ups, a lot of the album leans towards a slower tempo. Few catchy hooks, few memorable lyrics, the sequencing seems kinda scattershot... It's not unlistenable or anything, but I'm pretty sure it'll be one of those CDs I listen to for a few days, put on the shelf, and never pop in my stereo again. Forgettable.
I still love "...Triple Rock", though.
