I'm really thinking I need to fly out and catch the gorge shows (looking at that schedule is there a question another show will be added there). That place looks amazing, and have to check it out sometime.
However, I already have tickets to enough shows of theirs prob.. What to do.

I wanted to Gloat, that I got Dublin tickets and will be making my first trip over to Ireland to catch the show. I'm amped! I considered catching more shows while over there, but the trip was pretty much planned, minus exact dates, so the PJ show falling around there was just gravey. So outside of that will be doing more touristy things etc.
Plus I hate seeing anybody even PJ more then 3-4 times a tour, and this will be my 5th of the tour, and will have to attend at least 1 Madison Square Garden show.

I'm going on May 27 and 28 in Camden and DC on May 30. Ten Club tickets for the 27th and 30th, just got lawn seats for the 28th. I didn't notice that they'd added a 2nd show in Camden in time to get 10 club tics.
Can't wait, especially after the Live on Letterman webcast. They're playing with energy I've not seen from them in years. The new album is great and the songs are fantastic live.

Not at all, they always play with a ton of energy, more than most bands, but as they got older they lost a little of what they had in the early days. But were still the best live band around IMO.
Mainly, It's been a while since I've seen Mike and Eddie bounce around as much as they did on the the Letterman webcast. But of course they're still not (and never will) be at the level they were around 10 and Vs. when they were jumping all over the place, Eddie crowd surfing etc.
But I've not seen them live nearly as much as you. Just once in 2000, the 2 dvds and some live videos online here and there over the years.

part of the energy from the Letterman show may have been because they started off with songs they haven't played very many times for a live audience. Even Why Go hasn't been played the last few tours at all. Plus, tonight they were scrunched up together a lot more than on the usual large stage so all the energy was more concentrated I guess. They really almost never disappoint though, whether it's a massive crowd or a small one.

Well, last night PJ kicked off their world tour in Toronto and I was lucky enough to be there. I've seen them about half a dozen times previous, and I can easily say, this was one of the best shows I've ever seen them put on. The energy from the band and the crowd was incredible and they really blew the fucking roof off the joint with the new material.
The set list was "self titled" heavy, but since that record is excellent, that's not really a complaint (especially considering they did a recent across canada tour - not in support of any real album and just tore through their back catalogue). They did have lots of classics thrown into the mix though, and it seemed the played a lot of material from Ten. They closed with the (now classic) thundering rendition of "Rockin In The Free World", with house lights up and My Morning Jacket accompanying, then Yellow Ledbetter. After the song, they threw out some tour merchandise/picks etc. to the crowd and called it a night. They played for over 2 hours (including 2 very long encore breaks) and were extremely tight with the new material.
The Toronto Sun was pretty impressed too: http://jam.canoe.ca/Music/2006/05/10/1572254.html
If you've got tickets for any of the upcoming dates, you are definitely in for a treat. It rocked like a motherfucker.

As usual, great setlists for PJ. No band mixes it up better. Great to see Hail, Hail and Not For You, hopefully Smile makes it soon. I love when they open with slow songs like release. Pearl Jam should always do save it for later in betterman.
