Blondie vs The Doors: Rapture Riders
 

Has anyone heard/seen this on VH1-Classics? They've morphed Blondie's "Rapture" with The Doors "Riders On The Storm," and called it "Rapture Riders."

To tell the truth, the Jim Morrison vocals for "Riders" goes perfect with the beat of Blondie's "Rapture."

It's available on the new Blondie Greatest Hits: Sound & Vision (CD+DVD) as a song and a video

They did a pretty good job of matching his "Hollywood Bowl" lips to the song on the video!

It's a catchy remix.

I wonder if it will inflatrate American Top 40 radio stations. I wonder if gasp! if it will be a hit song. That would be nice, to have Blondie/Doors be sandwiched between Eminem and Beyonce on kids boomboxes.
