This worked out pretty good last year so lets try it again.

Special thanks to The Bus who started the original thread last year and the great wrap-up in early 2006. He was also kind enough to share with me his secret formula for compiling the data.

The rules are simple:

This thread is for ranking albums that are released in 2006. This does not include reissues or albums that you have purchased/heard for the first time this year but were released in prior years.

Keep your list in one post (edit!) and keep them in some sort of order (see the second post for my system).

At the end of the year I will compile a list of the top albums as voted by MusicTalk.

Hopefully we can introduce each other to some good music this year!
