No way, that's a great Prince tune (and a great Sinead performance).

That's it. Thanks. Two songs shared between them. Very odd.

Scratch my last choice. It's not really played much anymore anyway.

My new nomination for TEH SUCK is Coldplay's "Talk". That guitar riff is just putrid.

I actually like that song alot, and the guitar is one of the reasons.

"Talk" is my favorite song from 2005. That "putrid" guitar riff comes from Kraftwerk's landmark album Computer World.

Anything by Nickleback.
Their lyrics are awful! Like in that Photograph song....
"I was 12 when I had my first kiss, I was so nervous I nearly missed" Are you an idiot?

Three pages and nobody mentions "who let the dogs out"? Shame shame...

I was going to mention the Blur "whoo hoo" song # whatever but it's been touched on...

Also have to add "500 Miles" by The Proclaimers. I HATE that song with a passion.

As for Mr. Brightside, well, I still like it, but I also don't listen to the radio, so it hasn't been ruined for me.

Oh yeah, that Four Non-Blondes song is scraping the bottom of pop radio HELL. I really can't think of any song I've heard that I hate worse. Linda writes better songs for little teeny boppers and that's a really sad compliment.

Neal Boortz calls current R&B "urban yodelling". I am a huge fan of classic soul music (Stevie, Al, James, Marvin, etc.), but once a singer hits three octaves on one syllable I have to immediately shut off the power. Good god that is annoying.

Another vote for Laffy Taffy. I could only shake my head in disbelief when I heard a cell phone ringtone of a 30-something girl featuring this putrid excuse for a song. Awful song, I want to spit in the eye of whoever conceived this piece of shit.

Wow, I've never even heard Laffy Taffy (at least I don't think I've heard it). Who sings it and what makes it so bad?

You mean:

Kim’s the first girl I kissed
I was so nervous that I nearly missed

If you're gonna quote a song, do it right. Nickelback rocks anyway.

Nobody said it's sheer genius. It's just a good song, and a good band. I hate it when someone says they hate the lyrics and then they don't even know them.

That annoying Gorillaz song that plays on the radio every 5 minutes. Scratch that, pretty much any song by the Gorillaz.

You mean Dare or Feel Good Inc?

Gorillaz are cool, but they can get annoying after awhile.

The song or the album? Harsh either way, one of the best albums of this decade.
