Has anybody sent in their "defective" Soft Bulletin? If so, have you received the replacement? Thanks.

I haven't sent mine in yet, not sure if I will... I'm pretty sure that I'll be listening to the DVD-A 9 out of 10 times when I decide to spin it. Probably 10 out of 10, I haven't listened to Yoshimi on CD since the day that the DVD-A was released... So, no real rush for me but I suppose that I should send it in...

In other news,
Coming soon:
20 Years of Weird: Flaming Lips 1986-2006
Street: 3/7/06
Tracks:
1. Wayne's Intro
2. Free Radicals
3. Enthusiasm for Life defeats Existential Fear.
4. With You
5. Whole Lotta Love/Can't Stop the Spring
6. Shine on Sweet Jesus
7. Space Age Love Song
8. Moth in the Incubator
9. When You Smile
10. Sleeping on the Roof
11. The Observer
Additional Info:
Most of the songs are from a very limited ep that was given away as a promo item by the band when their friend, Bradley Beasley, screened his
documentary about the band "Fearless Freaks" at SXSW in 2005. The tracks are mostly taken from various live shows throughout the band's career.
There is more info on this ep in the liner notes of the artwork. Also includes the track "Free Radicals" that is from the upcoming album "At War with the Mystics."
The live part is widely available, but Enthusiasm for life and Free Radicals are previously unavailable. In addition, the Wand single will include You Got To Hold On & Time Travel...Yes!.

I've finally listened to At War With The Mystics a couple of times and am underwhelmed. Nothing really stands out and it's kinda boring. I liked the 2 previous albums.

I'm still waiting until I can do a proper session on Zaireeka (should be soon, as I'm setting up a 6.1 HT in the same room as my 2-channel system) to pick that one up.

At this point, unfortunately, I think I am going to wait for the 5.1 mix (or will it be 4.1?)

After you're done listening, I suggest immediately rotating the discs around the different stereos to get an idea of how greatly the album can vary just based upon which stereo is playing which disc.
