Guided by Voices: The Best of Guided by Voices - I'm usually anti-greatest hits albums, but picked this up anyway. They're a band whose name I'd known for ages, but I'd never really heard their music and I just wanted a good introduction to them.

The National: The National - Picked up Alligator earlier in the year. Loved it enough to pick up Sad Songs For Dirty Lovers, which in turn was good enough to justify getting their first album.

Super Extra Gravity came out a few weeks ago. it's only advance copy because there's still no plan to release it in the states! :( then again, if you want your cardigans fix you just have to move to europe! ;)
