In my apt, not as loud as I would like. I finally had the neighbors call the cops on me, but that could have been coupled with the choice words I threw out when they asked me to turn it down. Drinking is fun . . .
In my car, it's game on. |
For the most part I keep the volume at a moderate sound though In the car I will turn it way up depending on the mood. As for at home, all i have are headphones. Speakers are back at the parents.
|
my neighbors don't really talk to me due to my habit of coming home drunk at 4am and cranking the music as loud as possible. i live in a small apartment complex with like 9 other units. i love pissing them off
|
I really only blast the volume in the car. Other than that, I keep it at a "normal" level.
|
I can't stand people who are disrespectful with noise. The last apartment building I lived in had a few people who seemed to think they were living in a dorm, but they were eventually all evicted.
After I bought my home and got my home theater set up, the first thing I did was crank the volume louder than I ever would while watching a movie or listening to music and then I went outside to see if it was audible from outside my home. Luckily it seems that my home is pretty well soundproofed, so I can easily listen to everything as loud as I want without bothering anyone (but my girlfriend). |
No, as I'm in an apartment. But it doesn't really bother me as I never liked blaring my music much anyway.

Hell yes, when the mood strikes me! It's one of the great things about owing your own house, and not having neighbors that are too close.
On top of that, I can go into the media room I have set up in my basement, and crank my electric guitar, even with the amp at half volume (still pretty loud) , and you can barely hear it outside the hosue (unless a window's open). Love it. |
Only in my car. Kind of wish I didn't. My ears constantly ring.

I can listen to stuff reasonably loud, but not as loud as I used to before the baby was running around the house. She likes to rock out to some old Social Distortion during lunch-time, so I have been cranking that up lately when I give her lunch on the weekends.

In the car...Absolutely. In the house...ONLY WHEN THE WIFE IS NOT AROUND!!!... And thats not often enough!
|
only crank it up when it suits the music. LOUD is the only way to listen to Swedish Death Metal.
|
I just bought a house so I have been cranking it for the past 2 weeks. It's been amazing. The music is SO much better when it's loud enough. I mean I like music loud but not too loud. There is a limit. I also just purchased a subwoofer so that has been fun fooling around with the bass volume. I still need to figure out how to properly set the sub at the correct volume as well as correct positioning of the sub.
