There's no way that's all on there. By my calculations, that's approx. 55 minutes of material. This is supposed to be a 2-CD set

:hscratch:

Isn't it only $6.99? I could see the first three flicks on one disc and the other three on the second.

Then again, since someone who lives in NYC won't SEND ME ANYTHING, I guess I can't see much...

Nope. It's a 2-disc set for $14.99. It's featured prominently in this week's ad seen here

I believe the ad is misleading. From what I saw at the store on Sunday there was a package of the Episode 3 soundtrack and shrunk wrapped in a cardboard sleeve with it was a cd featuring music from all 6 movies. There was also a sticker on the packaging saying 'Target exclusive'

When I first read about this I thought it would be a nice 2 cd set spread out amongst all 6 flix but I have a feeling what I saw and described above is the best you are going to get (the full Episode 3 soundtrack with the addition of a cd with the tracks noted in the posts above)

It's one CD...and packaged with the Sith soundtrack.

And SOMEONE should email me from CT to get shit from me since I was the last to email his ROGUE ass. ;)

No Duel of the Fates? That is the single greatest piece of music of the prequel trilogy. What a waste.

What about the Imperial March? Or has it been renamed Imperial Attack?

That sucks all sorts of ass. Like most astute SW fans, I picked up the Sith soundtrack with the wonderful bonuse music DVD. Is that bonus DVD included with this set (I assume not)?

As far as I know, it's the same cd+dvd set with the bonus disc shrinkwrapped/attached with it. I didn't buy it. The closest Target is pretty far from me and most people round these parts don't have no cars. ;)

Sure enough, that's what it is. I guess it's nice if you never bought it before, but otherwise it's kinda worthless. The ad is VERY deceptive. It shows the cover of the Bonus disc, as if it's the album cover (which it isn't) and calls it an exclusive 2-CD set (it's a CD + DVD with exclusive bonus CD instead). Oh well, my disappointment was mitigated considerably by the fairly awesome collector's coin packaged with the Ep III DVD.

GuessWho 11-02-05 11:33 PM

and it's not called a "best of" either (this thread title is misleading)

hence, no imperial march, duel of the fates, medal ceremony, etc

Wrong-o, Guess Who. That's exactly what Target is calling it in their ads. Look here.

Target's title is misleading.

Yes. The actual title, in small print under "Star Wars" is "The Corellian Edition."

I think you could ask a certain Hutt about how likely it is that a Corellian will deliver on his promises....
