Just got this info:
Televisually speaking, the "Conan" appearance mentioned in the last mailing is indeed tonight (Wednesday). I don't know what network it's on. You probably do.
That is TONIGHT! You can thank me later.
I was watching "Spaced" yesterday and heard one of their songs in the background while they were at a pub. For ten seconds I was thinking "I really like this song" then it dawned on me that it was B&S.

Well, that Conan appearance was much better than their one in 2002, but I don't know why they felt compelled to perform "Funny Little Frog". There are better songs on the new album, and it wasn't even released as a single here.
Steve Jackson so obviously wants to be a rock star. It's adorable.

I also thought they did well on Conan last night. I felt bad for Beans, because he didn't seem to have much to do. I think that Funny Little Frog is probably the most "US-compatible" song on the album, which is probably why the selected that song.
Just over a week to go until I see them live in Milwaukee!

The Milwaukee concert on Saturday night was fantastic. The place was absolutely packed, and I was shocked at how many fellow concert-goers actually knew the words to the new album. I thought I'd be in the minority. They also shocked me by playing quite a few off of Tigermilk and If You're Feeling Sinister.

Hearing "Expectations" and "Your Cover's Blown" in the same show was amazing.

Does anyone know where I can get the setlists for both of the L.A. shows? No way I can remember everything the band played.
Also, I was very disapointed that Neko Case did not play with The New Pornographers. I expected Bejar to skip the tour, but I thought she would come along. Did she play at any of the other shows?
