Boys of Summer cover versions?

I was at work the other day and there was a cover of the Boys of Summer but the singer was female, anyone have any idea who this is? I wasn't able to check at work and I can't find any female vocal versions of the song anywhere when I search on google. Any help would be appreciated.

If the cover seemed a bit like a techno version, then it is a cover by DJ SAMMY. Bryan Adams' HEAVEN was also covered.

Chantal Kreviazuk?

The Ataris covered this song, and the lead singer looks and sounds like a girl.

Joking aside, I think DJ Sammy is probably what you're looking for.

Okay, thanks for the help! I'll check out DJ Sammy since that seems like it's the one.

If you like that techno dance crap, I hope that's the one you're looking for. I downloaded it and almost threw up my dinner. I hate it when they take good songs that an artist put their heart and soul into, and bastardize them like that.

yeah I heard that techno cover at the gym and started laughing because it was so awful. They also played a techno version of "D'Ya Know what I mean" by Oasis. Maybe I need to start going to a different gym, that or remembering to bring my iPod.

Bree Sharp covered it. Not sure it was released as a single though.
