Living Things: Ahead of the Lions
 

No one seems to have talked about this album yet and it's great.

They sound like a combination of the Ramones, The Cult ("Electric" Era) and AC/DC. Punk/hard rock in other words. They're mining the same vein as bands like Hellacopters.

Also Steve Albini produced this album (I'm a fan) so it sounds terrific. Some have a trenda retro-eighties sheen, most are just crunchy and compressed.

Best song: "I Owe", when the bass drops in, I'm in rawk heaven.
