They're playing 5 (!) shows in LA this week, and I'm going to 3 of them - I already went Tuesday, and I'm going back tonight and Satruday. They're playing at the Henry Fonda thater, which is very small and intimate, they go on at 9 (no opening band) and play 'till mid-night - that's 3 hours of greatness. Oh, and they will NOT repeat set for any of the shows - think about that - 5, 3-hour shows - that's 15 hours with no repeats - I think there might be 2 or 3 songs that they'll just do twice, so maybe only 15 minutes of overlap over 15 hours. I can't think of any band that does that.
The Vegas shows were amazing. Definitely the two best concerts I've seen this year. My Morning Song kicked so much ass...hope you get one.

Last night's (friday) show was even better than wednesday's (I didn't think that would be possible) - another 3-hour set, completely different than the other night and, yes, they played a 15-minute version of My Morning Song and they just blew everyone away - they even threw in a Beatles and Everly Brothers cover - I saw Julliane Moore, Jeremy Sisto and Kate Hudson (of Course) in the crowd.

They are easily one of the best live bands ever - and that's no hyperbole.

I'm so stoked to see them from less than 10-feet from the stage in such a small venue, when just next month they're playing a sold-out Madison Square Garden. And I'm going back tonight! - I'd also go Sunday if it wasn't sold out.

Just saw Porcupine Tree last week; phenominal. Easily one of the best shows I have seen in recent times.

I'll be seeing Children of Bodom, Fear Factory, Strapping Young Lad, Soulfly, Sevendust, and Mudvayne. Plus the Suicide Girls Burlesque Show. I'm sure others will pop up here and there.

Sorry to keep going on about The Black Crowes, but last night was yet another amazing show, in which they were joined by Ben Harper for the encore - and I was just 3-feet from the stage. Just awesome!

Caught Nine Inch Nails last night, with Queens of the Stone Age. Absolutely awesome show. Here's the set list, think they've been playing the same one most shows this leg of the tour.

1. Pinion
2. Love Is Not Enough
3. You Know What You Are
4. Terrible Lie
5. The Line Begins To Blur
6. March Of the Pigs
7. The Frail
8. The Wretched
9. Closer
10. Burn
11. Gave Up
12. Eraser
13. Right Where It Belongs
14. Beside You In Time
15. The Collector
16. Wish
17. Only
18. Reptile
19. Suck
20. Hurt
21. The Hand That Feeds
22. Head Like A Hole

Great 6 weeks or so of concerts for me with Coldplay, Paul McCartney, Audioslave and this show.
