Fixed--Is there a Music website like this?

Ok that post I did this morning was right when DVDtalk crashed and now I cant edit/delete it.

Anyway, this is what its supposed to say--

Is there a website where you can search to see what musical scores/soundtracks were done by bands/musicians. Before you say 'theres tons of those' heres the hard part:

I want to be able to search by band/musician NOT by movie. For example I want to be able to put in the band "The Cure" or "Red Hot Chili Peppers" and see what movies have them in the soundtrack.

I thought this would work...

Look up a band on allmusic.com
Click the Discography tab
Click the Compilations tab

...but it doesn't

Maybe not definitive, but you can search by "Name" on IMDB.com and the band's (or band member's) name will be listed as "composer."

For instance, here's what came up when I searched for The Cure (and it listed Robert Smith):

Just Like Heaven (2005)
A Lot Like Love (2005) (song "Mint Car") (as Robert J. Smith)
Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004) (song "Us Or Them") (uncredited)
"The Smoking Room" (2004) TV Series (title music "Close to Me")
Jersey Girl (2004) (song "High")
One Perfect Day (2004) (song "Pictures of You")
50 First Dates (2004) (songs "Friday I'm in Love" and "Love Song") (as Robert J. Smith)
The Cure: Trilogy (2003) (V) (songs)
Not Another Teen Movie (2001) (song "In Between Days")
... aka Sex Academy (Europe: English title: new title)
Loser (2000) (song "Mint Car")
... aka The Loser (USA)
Boys Don't Cry (1999) (song "Boys Don't Cry")
The X Files (1998) (song)
... aka Aux frontières du réel (Canada: French title)
... aka The X-Files (USA: closing credits title)
The Wedding Singer (1998) (song "Boys Don't Cry")
Dead Man's Curve (1998) (song "Primary") (as Smith)
... aka Dead Man's Curve (Australia)
The Crow (1994) (song "Burn")
The Cure Show (1993) (songs)

hmm I was hoping for a definitive listing somewhere (like allmusic or imdb) this will be hard to check on obscure or small label bands.
