There's something fundamentally wrong with the universe when a band as talented as these guys can only fill an arena by playing christmas music.

Well, lets see how they do on a summer tour after they release Night Castle. I'll probably go.

I'll believe it when I see it.

They said they would tour with Beethoven's Last Night and never did. I always thought that would have made an awesome show if put together right.

Meanwhile, this guy has a lot of good pictures from the last 5 years, mostly west coast except for this year's:

Also, there is a great TSO interview with Paul O'Neill HERE

I saw the west coast show two nights ago which is led by Al Pitrelli. TSO was amazing and the light show was spectacular (although at times it was hard to see what was happening on the stage).

I was disappointed that we weren't getting the East Coast guys as I'm a big fan of Chris Caffrey and Alex Skolnick but Angus Clark and Al, more than held up there own. The female violinist was amazing and Al's wife was great on keyboards as well.

They played La Grange, Rock and Roll and Peanuts as their cover songs and did Carmina Burana from the forthcoming Night Castle.

We will definitely be going back again next year.

East Coast did those too.

My sister and BIL took me to see them last year as a xmas present, had never really heard them before. I thought the first part of the concert telling the story was "Hallmark special"ish, didn't do much for me.. the 2nd concert part was more enjoyable.
