Aaron Carter - Greatest Hits Album

Aaron Carters' Greatest Hits album is already out for anyone thats interested. Im only posting this because he HAS had a few truly great songs like his cover of 'Surfin' USA' which, lets face it, no one has been able to outperform either before or since. And hes the younger brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter.

1. Aaron's Party (Come Get It)
2. I Want Candy
3. That's How I Beat Shaq
4. Oh Aaron
5. Not Too Young, Not Too Old
6. I'm All About You
7. Leave It Up to Me
8. Another Earthquake! 9. To All the Girls
11. Do You Remember
12. America A O
13. She Wants Me
14. One Better
15. My Shorty

Edit - I forgot. Oh trivia trivia trivia! He has also dated Hilary Duff AND Lindsay Lohan. Wow.

Mark my words and mark them well, this will be the most significant album released since Dark Side Of The Soon.

I take it you mean Hilary. Lets not forget, despite our cribbing at all this corporate vile stuff, they're the ones going straight to No. 1, as Hilary is proving this week with not only the No. 1 album in the country, but also a No 1 single on TRL and Radio Disney. So yeah, it may be vile (much of Aarons' album is), but its still mindlessly enjoyable!

By the way, Mariah is expected to take the No. 1 on the albums chart next week AGAIN with MIMI as both Hilary and Brad Paisley are expected to fall drastically.

Amazing what passes for "truly great songs" these days.

If it's so great why isn't it on this album?

Just looking at the titles of these songs disturbs me ... 2 of his greatest hits have his name in them? Having a song about yourself called "Oh Aaron" looks odd. And I don't even want to know what "My Shorty" is referring too.

I didn't know he had hits. Oh well, just another CD I'll pass on.

Either current pop music sucks or I'm just too old school for it.

Nope, he just appears to be a fan of "tween" pop.

I was wandering around through a music store one day, picking up some music (obviously). I saw Aaron Carter's album, and thinking that it was a solo album by the guitarist for Cirrus, I grabbed it. I also picked up some other cd's, although the titles elude me at this point.
When I went to the counter, the cashier was taking the plastic alarming things off, and gave me a funny look when he got to Aaron's cd. Based on my other purchases, he asked me if I really liked him, or if it was for someone else. I started talking about how I had seen Cirrus somewhere, and how I liked them. He figured out that I didn't know what I was buying, and informed me of my mistake.

Thank goodness he did. That one would have been pawned for the .25 it might be worth pretty quickly.

Instead of covering the Beach Boys, he should be covering Dr. Dre....

I'm going to wait for his Discography Box Set with included live tracks, unreleased material and concert DVD.

Labels fooled me with double-dips in the past... not anymore.
