Song Help! What song is this?

The lyrics are something like:

This is a pretty popular song I just have no idea what the name or from what band it is from.

No, they actually broke up in '01 or '02. The lead singer helped form the band Burden Brothers and they have an album you should check out since you liked the Toadies.

Beautiful Night & Shadow are good selections from that album.
