Flashback 06-18-05 01:13 PM

The best Music festival period, at least in the States. Many bands purposely try to get their tour to go through Milwaukee at this time. All it costs is the entrance charge and you have access to many different stages though out the day to see a band. The only extra charge is for the Marcus stage. And that list is only the late shows.

Holy crap what a lineup this year. Summerfest is of the things I missed when I moved from Chicago. The only problem is there are too many good acts I would want to see playing at the same time.

Holy Crap! Is that their best lineup ever or what!?!

Mhepburn20 06-19-05 08:56 AM

Wow that is a very impressive lineup! I wonder if Stevie Nicks will join Tom Petty onstage for any of his stuff (They've dueted on quite a few songs over the years) or vice-versa.

deadlax 06-19-05 09:24 AM

Wow. I must be the only one underwhelmed by that lineup. Very small number of "new" or "impressive but out of the spotlight" bands, for headliners at least. Thought music midtown in Georgia had a much nicer lineup and that was only 3 days.

Nope, you're not alone. There are only two artists from that list that I would see (Isaac Hayes and Femi Kuti), and even those are far from favorites of mine.

Nice lineup.
