Just saw this vid and didn't care for it too much.

She wasn't in the Daisy car-how did she get to drive the General? Was that common? Then she goes into the bar and I thought they went to Deadwood.

Don't care for her vocals and I knew it was a matter of time before they did the standard extra dancers behind her bit.

Not a good thing except for Lee Hazlewood who will get a royalty check.

She looks like Britney Spears in the video -- saw it on MTV this afternoon and for a second or two I thought it was Britney until I paid attention to the song and not the body dancing around.

Anyway, she is hot as hell in the video :) I am not a fan of the original song, but this version is kinda catchy with the hick music in the background.

I like the version by ex Spice Girl Geri Halliwell. I don't know if I'll be able to track down the French one. I doubt they carry it at my local BB.

The song: Didn't like the song. It would have been nice to actually hear Willie Nelson and Trigger instead of the pop/electric/dance fuse. It would have actually been an interesting mix, Willie & Jessica.

The video: Like watching an assless- less pretty version of a Shakira video. Whatever happened to her anyway? Still hot, but I couldn't get Shakira out of my mind watching it and she tops Jessica anyday in my book.

Not only that, but the doors to the General Lee OPEN now???

Horrid, horrid, horrid version of the song. Seriously, everyone involved should be kicked out of the music industry because they clearly know nothing about making good pop songs. Nancy's is still best, but I also like Lisa Germano's version (available only on the first version of her album Happiness) even though she's since disowned the song.

Stupid video (I started to laugh when she was trying to stay in sync with the other dancers and had to go into her "own thing" for awhile, as she couldn't keep up).
