Music for documentary

Hi,

I am making a documentary on DVD about a construction site my company has been involved with.

I need some good background music, about 5 minutes long. I prefer purily instrumental music (no lyrics), and of somewhat crescendo-heroic nature.

What would you suggest? Please suggest artist and song, so I can head out and potentially buy the CD.

Alternatively, if you can suggest royalty-free downloads off the internet, that would be better yet.

Thanks!

You'll probably run into rights issues if you use anything copyrighted. You probably can use something from a stock music library without a problem.

Correct. That being said, I would make only about 5 copies for me and my colleagues. I realize that this IS infringing on copyright, but the music would be used as a background, with in the foreground all kind of other noises (engines, people talking, interviews) from the original sound recorded with the picture. Basically, my colleagues wouldn't be able to get the original music off the DVD, and I would gladly suggest them the CD where I found the music and tell them to buy it.

But, we have to be correct, so please only suggest sites where I can find stock music, or royalty-free libraries.
