Vegas Inspired Music

Thought about posting this in the Vegas forum, but hoped it would get more reponses here. Planning a quick trip to Vegas in June with a friend and would like to put together a CD of songs that help get the trip started on the right foot. I'd like to hear some recommendation of Vegas themed or inspired songs - both old and new.

That's a great disc. I've got the limited edition with a little working roulette wheel and green felt.

I made a compilation that served as an invitation to my best friend's Vegas bachelor party. I'll post the list of songs that I used after I dig it out tomorrow or the next day.

Yeah, that Ultra-Lounge collection is sweet. I also really like the Swingers soundtrack. Always puts me in a Vegas mood. Any Rat Pack CD will do that to me as well.

Any luck finding that list of songs?

Yeah, I found it. Thanks for reminding me. I pretty much made a mix of songs about Vegas, gambling, boozing, strip clubs, and living large. A chunk of the tracks were taken from the Ultra-Lounge comp. The disc was peppered with sound clips from Swingers. Here's the tracklisting (in order):

"Drink to Me Only With Thine Eyes/I Don't Care If the Sun Don't Shine/I Love Vegas (Live at the Sands)" - Dean Martin (get this Rat Pack disc - it's excellent)
"With Plenty of Money and You" - Tony Bennett
"Luck Be a Lady" - Frank Sinatra
"Ain't That a Kick in the Head" - Sammy Davis, Jr.
"Big Spender" - Peggy Lee
"Ace in the Hole (Live at the Flamingo)" - Bobby Darin (hidden bonus track on the aforementioned Ultra-Lounge disc)
"Danke Schoen" - Wayne Newton (no Vegas disc is complete without Wayne)
"Who's Got the Action?" - Dean Martin
"You and Me and the Bottle Makes 3 Tonight (Baby)" - Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
"I Got Loaded" - Buster Poindexter
"D.R.I.N.K." - Asylum Street Spankers
"The Bottle's Talking Now" - Mary Prankster
"Alcohol" - Barenaked Ladies
"Viva Las Vegas" - Elvis Presley
"Sin City" - AC/DC
"Lapdance" - N.E.R.D.
"Cha Cha Cha" - Jimmy Luxury
"Hi Ball Swing" - Jimmy Luxury
"Work That Pole" - The Beatnuts
"Perfect Gentleman" - Wyclef Jean
"Big Pimpin'" - Jay-Z
"Leaving Las Vegas" - Sheryl Crow

If you can't find any of the tracks, let me know.
