OK this is going to be near impossible, but I was sitting with a friend the other day watching videos and one came on of a band with a (possibly?) Asian male lead singer and these guys just look like they are the latest "it" band --- then this insanely catchy, fastly-played bassline starts:

We :rolleyes: and said, "I liked these guys better when they were called The Clash."

Well, then I heard the song again. And again. And now it's stuck in my head. But I don't know the name.

Surely someone can help.

I realize how foolish and vague my request is. It's not Bloc Party, it's not the Decemberists -- the song is from the last 6 months, possbly last 6 weeks. I've only now begun to hear it.
