Hey, I bought it, so I have to rank it. I'm very disappointed on first listen. I really liked Results May Vary (one of the few, I'm sure), but this one is not so good.

Decemberists, Picaresque

The only two albums I genuinely dislike are the Locust and Decemberists discs. The Locust "album" (if you can even call it that) just infuriated me because I paid full price for a 10-minute joke; the Decemeberists isn't necessarily bad, I've just reached the point where Colin Meloy's voice drives me to commit violent acts. A shame, really, as I loved their other two albums.

The Bus 05-18-05 08:12 AM

The Bus 06-07-05 07:25 AM

Bump for stats updated. Notice Beck has completely dropped off the Top 10. I will be expanding my rules for rankings for the next one, as we are now tracking over 100 albums(!).

Also, please have only one post with your votes. It makes it a lot easier to not have to erase all my rankings and start over again. (I'm looking at you, Meatpants :)).

maxfisher 06-07-05 08:35 AM

Updated my list again. I've mostly just been adding new albums as I listen to them and not really re-ordering the rest.
