Who's the dancer in Vanessa Carlton's "White Houses" video?

If it's the video I'm thinking of, that should be Vanessa herself. I remember a discussion about her new album and video here a while back, and I don't recall anyone saying anything about it being anyone but her.

Haven't seen it in a while [and then only once], but IIRC, I think she was the dancer..

It is her. She was a little ballerina as a child and decided to incorporate that into this video. Some of it was to answer the critics that she couldn't "compete" with Britney and Christina.
