Yes, the Audioslave presale sold out in two minutes, but i had no problem getting tickets when it went on sale to the general public. That didnt sell out for like 10 minutes.

You just had to be on the 9:30 club e-mail list to get the link and password.
It had nothing to do with the band.
I missed it as it was 20 minutes into the presale when I woke up (I'm in Hawai'i on vacation and it was early) so it was already sold out for that and I had no luck at the public sale. I started refreshing the screen 5 minutes before they went on sale and the first time in changed it said it was sold out.
Oh well, they'll probably due a ampitheater show this summer.

I was really pissed that the two Interpol shows and the Garbage show sold out exclusively from preinternet sales.
I felt vindicated though that the Post review of the Interpol (Saturday night) show was flawed, tedious and a tad boring.

I was pissed about Garbage as well. Ended up having to pay $66 for a ticket on eBay, in addition to the $20 I paid to get access to pre-sales on Garbage's web-site.
For some reason the 9:30 Club show either never went up on their site or was never announced. I checked one night, it said they weren't available yet. Checked the next night, they were sold out, with no announcement from Garbage about them ever having gone on sale. So basically it cost me $100, but it will be worth it I'm sure.
