Sweet. Just bought my tickets for the Chicago show. I've been wanting to see them live since I picked up the 'Where We're Calling From' dvd about a year ago.

LiquidSky 03-16-05 08:38 AM

...and once again: no Nashville. Fuck "Music City"

At least I got to see Doves a few years ago during a summer festival....but each band only got to play for 30 minutes.

They skipped LA too so maybe there'll be a second leg.

BDB 03-16-05 10:00 AM

Nope they play the El Rey on the 21st of March..

Tickets aren't on sale for that show yet, are they?

They are a lot of fun live. I've seen them three times now and I'll gladly go see them again.

That's where my pals The Muffs played a while back.

Yep, looks like pretty much all the dates are on sale through their site. Here's the link:

GoVegan 03-16-05 02:54 PM

Cool. Thanks for pointing that out. I had been waiting for them to go up on Ticketmaster's site on Saturday.

BDB 03-16-05 03:21 PM

few bands using musictoday then, oasis and doves both used them

slop101 03-16-05 05:22 PM

You gotta love how they totally SKIP Southern California.

Flynn 03-16-05 11:49 PM

Kansas City is no longer showing up either... was the OP mistaken? Has this show sold out yet???

Don't forget they're playing Coachella...

LiquidSky 03-17-05 07:19 AM

I hope they add Nashville later on. There is a perfect place here for them to play: The Exit/In. Lots of cool bands have played there through the years.

Achtung 03-17-05 10:39 AM

Awesome, just got my tickets.

For anyone ordering in Chicago, are all the tickets GA, or was there seating before too?

Giles 03-17-05 11:09 AM

actually buying tickets through the Doves website is a whole dollar ( ) cheaper than buying through 9:30/Tickets.com. - woohoo, two tickets!
