Song title or artist? (new song, sung in high pitch)

I do not know any of the words, but I just heard it on the radio last night while at work and I want to use one of my Mt. Dew caps to download it.

It has this really high pitch corus is all I can remember about it, and I think that it is singing about love... or the loss of it. Anyone know what the hell I am talking about?

Could it be "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" by The Darkness?

No, I found a sample of I believe in love on their site and that is not the song.

The one that I heard was on a top 40 station if that helps at all.

I have, and neither of the top 40 stations in detroit have a playlist on them. One did however have a tracking system of the last three songs played, but that is as close to a playlist that I can get.

Could it be The Killers "Mr. Brightside"?

Coming out of my cage
And I've been doing just fine
Gotta gotta be down
Because I want it all

It started out with a kiss
How did it end up like this?
It was only a kiss
It was only a kiss

Now I'm falling asleep
And she's calling a cab
While he's having a smoke
And she's taking a drag

Now they're going to bed
And my stomach is sick
And its all in my head
But she's touching his chest now

He takes off her dress now
Let me go
And I just can't look its killing me
And taking control

Jealousy turning saints into the sea
Swimming through sick lullabye
Choking on your alibis
But its just the price I pay
Destiny is calling me
Open up my eager eyes
'Cos I'm Mr Brightside

(Twice, then...)

I never
I never
I never
I never

It is either hip hop or rap... I can't tell the diffrence between the two on a song like this... I will find samples of the ones posted to see if any are the song that I am looking for.

Thanks for the help guys!

Well, checked all those and none are it.

I finally remembered part of it. Talks about being alone... but in a high pitch, and very fast. Now to just figure out more of it.

Sounds like it could be "Twista"...but I don't listen to too much rap.........

But I'm guessing Twista is the artist...or the person featured on the song.

or umm....Mario "Let Me Love You", but I doubt that is it.

Might be "Lonely" by Akon (sped up sample of the Bobby Vinton song).
