WWE buys ECW music!
Musician Harry Slash is renowned for creating a number of original songs for Extreme Championship Wrestling and on his website, an announcement has been made stating that World Wrestling Entertainment have purchased the music library for ECW. "Harry Slash is pleased to announce that WWE has purchased our catalog of music used by ECW for WWE's future use in connection with WWE's library of ECW video footage," says Harry Grivas aka Harry Slash. All previous issues regarding WWE using music created for ECW have been "amicalbly resolved" according to Grivas. Previously Grivas and partner Roderick Kohn filled were said to have filed a lawsuit against WWE for the aforementioned issue. |

I *hope* they start releasing DVDs of the old ECW weekly tv shows. I'd buy them all!!! (And replace a lot of VHS tapes.) Although there may be other copyright issues with the old shows.

Word is that the WWE will release more ECW dvd's later on this year so this makes sense to them I guess.
