Who did the RELIGIOUS VERSION of I LOVE ROCK 'N ROLL?

Yes, the religious version of the Joan Jett & The Blackhearts 1982 classic, I Love Rock 'N Roll. It was something about I Love Prophet Paul or something to that effect.

Now, I know that I Love Rock 'N Roll is not an original song by Joan Jett, but that was a song used not too long before Jett remade it. While it would be easy to find out who did the original version, it is very difficult to find out who did the re-re-make because I don't have the title or the artist.

I think the question really is this: has anyone else heard this "religious" remake?

I've never heard the song, and in fact I've never even heard the band at all, but for whatever reason I just happened to know the answer to this. The band is called Apologetix, and they're a Christian parody band.

www.apologetix.com

A quick search of their website found that the track you're looking for is on their Best Of CD.
