Urgh! A Music War
I am putting this in music as I think it will get the most attention here.
This weekend on INHD (one of my HD channels) I saw they were showing this, I got it on my DVR, but it cut out the last 2 songs. This was a great film and I really wish, like many here, that this would come out on DVD.

This definately needs to be released on DVD soon. It's probably a rights nightmare.
Great stuff by The Cramps, X, Alley Cats, 999, Dead Kennedys, etc...
Does the Klaus Nomi performance give anyone else nightmares?

If you get INHD, it looks like it's on again next Wednesday night, and the following Wed, on INHD2. I had it recorded, then deleted it to free up space, since the description the guide showed, listed bands I wasn't really interested in. But I'll get it again next week.
according to a user description on IMDB:
"Punk, New Wave, Reggae and Techno bands from Europe and the US recorded live in several locations in 1980. The biggest names on the bill are the Police and UB 40 but every performance is a jewel, a time capsule of the influenced and the influential in rock music right up to today."

If you record this from INHD, ad an extra 15 minutes on to it. I did not and it ends with at least 2 songs left, it ended on Skafish.

Music rights nightmare.
Somewhere I have this on tape but I haven't seen the tape in 15 years.
Wish I had INHD.
Anyone that gets it on disc I would be happy to compensate for a copy.

Here is what I saw on my shortened version

Toyah Wilcox -- Dance
John Cooper Clarke -- Health Fanatic
OMD -- Enola Gay
Chelsea -- I'm on Fire
Oingo Boingo -- Ain't This the Life?
Echo & The Bunnymen -- The Puppet
Jools Holland -- Foolish I Know
XTC -- Respectable Street
Klaus Nomi -- Total Eclipse
Athletico Spizz 80 -- Where's Captain Kirk?
Go-Go's -- We Got the Beat
Dead Kennedys -- Bleed for Me
Steel Pulse -- Ku Klux Klan
Gary Numan -- Down in the Park
Joan Jett -- Bad Reputation
Magazine -- Model Worker
Surf Punks -- My Beach
Members -- Offshore Banking Business
Au Pairs -- Come Again
Cramps -- Tear It Up
Invisible Sex -- Valium
Pere Ubu -- Birdies
Devo -- Uncontrollable Urge
Alley Cats -- Nothing Means Nothing Anymore
John Otway -- Cheryl's Going Home
Gang of Four -- He'd Send in the Army
999 -- Homicide
Fleshtones -- Shadow-Line
X -- Beyond and Back
Skafish -- Sign of the Cross
These are what I did not see, as it stopped recording and I can not verify if these are or are not there. Record longer than 1:45.
Splodgenessabounds -- Two Little Boys
UB40 -- Madam Medusa
The Police -- Roxanne
I have no way (or perhaps not the knowledge)of getting this from my cable company DVR to my PC in another room, or I would be happy to burn this for those w/o INHD.
I will start a HTPC fund so I can do this, so who wants to be the first to cotribute?!

Interesting track listing.
However, it looks to me that too many people here are talking about trading material in a manner that is in contravention of the board rules.
Closing thread.
