1) Iced Earth- The Glorius Burdon
2) Dio- Master Of The Moon
3) Exodus - Tempo Of The Damned
4) Shadows- Fall The Enemy Within
5) Megadeth- The Syastem Has Failed

honerable mention: Lacuna Coil- Comalies (the album is a couple of years old but it didn't break until this year)

fallow the mia/diplo disc is a mixtape of mia songs mashed with jay-z, old funk records, the clipse, missy elliott, etc., all of it over dancehall beats. it's insanely fun.

Drive By Truckers - Dirty South

Just an amazing album, touching on Lynyrd Skynyrd, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Steve Earle and Johnny Cash. They got a lot of press for 'Southern Rock Opera', and good reviews for 'Decoration Day', but this one is a big leap ahead, especially in the songwriting!

Can I put a compilation on a year-end list? Cos holy shit I finally got the DFA compilation #2 and I've listened to all three discs two times through since I bought it at 2 pm today.

What would I look under at Amazon to find this?

My vote would have to to go with the last batch of CDs that I bought, and right now my vote would go to Franz Ferdinand.
