Travis - Singles
 

Greatest Hits cd w/ a new song. Comes out on the 3rd of Nov. I think Travis is a solid band, worth checking out if you haven't already.

I love Travis. They've only had 3 albums though. Seems kind of premature for a greatest hits cd already.

you would have thought that a video collection of the band could accompany this album - but no dice! :(

Thought it was four albums (?). I only have two of their discs... debating on picking up the latest on BMG, but I've heard it's kind of a dour record with less hooks.

and where's the "Storytellers" performance that aired stateside on VH1 a couple of years back, I would love to own that gig as well.

Whoops, yeah, they have 4 albums, I forgot about their latest one (since I never listened to it all that much cause I thought it was kind of lackluster).

No "Baby One More Time?" If Travis never recorded a studio version of that song, they should've at least for this cd.

I am sure it was a one-off deal, in that they could (and did)release it on UK and US single but not on album form. A studio cut of the song would be nowhere as funny as the live recorded version conveyed, Fran's comical opening remark: "Here's 'Hotel California'" and the band cracking up half way through feels spontaneous and just care free as the song should be heard.

I am happy to say there is one!!!

It comes out tuesday as well as the cd for a retail of $14.98! So most places will have the dvd a lot cheaper!
