Thanks for the heads-up on American Edit. I found it last night. Good stuff.

Here are a few more album-length mashups:

Hippocamp Ruins Pet Sounds (I think this one may be more of a remix album than mashups - I'm not really familiar with the music under the vocals)

London Booted (this one's legit as it has the Clash's blessing and is sold in stores; just streams on this site)

Santastic (for your next hipster Christmas party; put up by the guy who did the Beastles mix)

There's also one I stumbled on - Me & This Army - of Radiohead mashups. Samples and purchase info here (but if you know where to look...).

What about those songs that are two songs that sound very similar to each other combined so they expose the fact that one band ripped off the other band or they both lack originality or whatever? I thought the term for that was mashup, but apparently that's the term for djs mixing two records smoothly or whatever. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
