The Killers, "Somebody Told Me": Two versions?
 

Maybe I'm just going nuts but on the song Somebody Told Me by The Killers that I have downloaded, they sing the line "ready let's roll onto something new" at about 1:25 into the song then repeat that same line about 10 seconds later.

But...I could swear that the last couple of times I've heard this song on the radio I only heard that line once. Otherwise the song sounds identicle. Not like a remix or anything.

I don't currently own the CD, so I don't know what's on that.

Am I right or am I crazy?

When I bought the album and heard "Somebody Told Me" for the first time I immediately thought that it sounded different from the one I downloaded. I think they're slightly different. O yea, I just checked and they say "Ready lets roll..." only once on the CD.

BTW - If you like that song I strongly reccomend you pick up the album. IMHO, its been by far the best album this year. "Somebody told me" is only like the 6th or 7th best song on the album.

The Killers are playing in NYC tomorrow. I'd like to go check them out but it's a tue. night, the show probably won't start until like 11pm and beers will be $8 bucks. Guess I'll pass.
